We’re back and we can finally advise that the Blues Festival will be held on Saturday 9th March, 2019. 🎉🎉🎉
When looking at the next date available, we had to consider when our volunteers were available, Xmas, when other events are being held, school holidays etc.
at this stage, we’re waiting to have the line up confirmed but are hoping that the same awesome bands are available.
The below advice has been sent to the local paper, to appear in the public notices section.

The Redland Bayside Blues Festival is returning and will be held at
Capalaba Regional Park on Saturday the 9th of March 2019
GATES OPEN 12 noon

Although it is FREE entry we do ask for a small donation (gold coin)
which will be donated to projects of the Rotary Club of Capalaba.

The Redland Bayside Blues Festival is a FAMILY event and we invite people to attend of ALL ages.  There will be FOOD AND MARKET STALLS.

Make sure you remember the picnic blanket and/some camper chairs so you can enjoy the entire day in comfort.

For the bigger kids there will be live music, a fully licenced area and with 5000 people expected to attend it should be a kicking start to the first of many blues festivals to come.

Although there will be no parking on site, there will be parking available within Capalaba as per the map below in front of the greyhound race track. This event is DISABLED friendly.The Redland area is a naturally beautiful area of south east Queensland with plenty of options for those wishing to build a break around the festival.  For whale watching, fishing, boating and beach and bushwalking activities, head to North Stradbroke Island and surrounding Southern Moreton Bay Islands.  For mainland fine dining and café culture visit Raby Bay Harbour at Cleveland or the Wynnum and Manly Foreshore.  We also have shopping and weekend markets at Capalaba and Cleveland.Redland City is easy to travel to by public transport. There is a direct train-line from the Brisbane CBD or many bus options.
